Changelog

What's new

Every released version and what changed in it, newest first. Anything still being built is listed separately at the bottom, without a date - a promised date that slips is worse than no date at all.

Version 1.1.0

Nothing lost

  • Import from Goodreads, The StoryGraph, LibraryThing, Bookmory, Tome, Fable and Hardcover - or from any CSV with a title column
  • A preview of the file before a single book is written, and a plain report of what came across afterwards
  • Fix My Library finds missing dates, page counts and unset shelves, and fixes them in a few taps
  • Import no longer invents a finish date it does not know, so an imported library no longer fills this year’s goal by accident
  • Different editions of the same book merge into one entry instead of piling up as duplicates
  • A reading timer with a focus screen, a daily page target, and an answer to “can I finish this by Friday?”
  • Reading sessions are yours to edit and delete, and the streak is recalculated from them
  • Series tracking with reading order, missing volumes, and a radar for the ones not out yet
  • Saved quotes, typed, pasted, or captured from the page with the camera
  • Spice level and tropes as private tags, your own tabs on a book, and a note of who recommended it
  • Keep scanning to digitize a whole shelf in one batch, or add a book entirely by hand
  • Pick For Me draws your next book from the to-read pile, weighted by mood
  • A card a day worth sharing, and per-book visibility so a single book can stay off every card
  • Covers cached on device, so the library opens instantly and works offline
  • A Privacy screen naming every company your data can reach, an analytics switch, and one screen that erases everything

Version 1.0.1

Released 2026

  • Clearer explanation of why the camera is needed, shown before the system asks for permission
  • Corrected privacy details and licence links in the App Store listing
  • Fixed the support address so it opens a page that actually exists

Version 1.0

The first public release

  • Add books in seconds by scanning a barcode or searching millions of titles
  • Four smart shelves and a cover-first library, in a grid or a list
  • Half-star ratings and private notes on every book
  • A yearly reading goal, a reading streak and Home Screen widgets
  • Statistics, a Yearly Chronicle and shareable Monthly Wrapped cards
  • Goodreads CSV import, and export to CSV or JSON at any time
  • iCloud sync across iPhone and iPad, and full offline use
  • Dark Mode, Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support throughout

Version 1.2.0

Being built. Not in the App Store yet, and deliberately without a date

The next version is about finding your next book inside your own shelves rather than in a chart of what everyone else read. Everything below already works on the test devices. The day it ships, this block moves up to join the released versions.

  • A Discover tab: one book at a time, drawn from what your shelves and ratings say you like, with a line on why it was picked. Swipe it away, or add it to your to-read pile
  • A Daily Mix that changes every day, and three badges for the curious: Explorer, Book Worm and Genre Hopper
  • Pick the genres you care about while setting the app up, so the first suggestions are not guesses
  • A new look on every screen: four tabs, covers first, and the colour of the cover spreading behind the book page and the reading timer
  • Statistics switch between this year, all time and your streak, and the profile shows how long you have been reading with the app
  • Monthly Wrapped plays as a full-screen story, and each month’s cards are kept so you can go back to them
  • Every quote remembers whether it was typed in or captured with the camera

Still being built for the same version: a yearly Wrapped to go with the monthly one.
