Monthly Wrapped

Somebody sent you their reading month

A Wrapped card is one picture summing up a month of reading: the books finished, the pages turned, the average rating, the best day. BooksLove builds it from a reading log that lives entirely on its owner's device.

The card itself is not stored here, and it never was. It is drawn on the phone that made it and handed straight to whatever app sent it to you. There is no BooksLove server holding a copy, because there is no BooksLove server at all.

Where the numbers come from

Everything on the card is calculated from books the owner marked as finished, and the reading sessions they logged.

  • Books finished in the month, with their covers
  • Pages turned, taken from recorded reading sessions
  • Average rating, on the half-star scale the app uses
  • The longest streak of consecutive reading days
  • The genres the month leaned towards

Any book can be marked so that it never appears on a shareable card — the reading log is a personal document, and some of it is nobody else's business.
